TEA WITH HONEY

An excellent natural remedy for flu and cold.

Lemon tea with honey helps to decongest the nose and throat and improves breathing.

Ingredients

  • Juice of 1 lemon;
  • 1 tablespoon of honey;
  • 1 cup of boiling water

Preparation mode

Add honey to a cup of boiling water, stir well and then add the pure juice of 1 lemon. You should drink the tea right after its preparation, and it is important to add the lemon juice last to ensure that the vitamin C in the fruit is not lost.

  • Alternatively, you can make the tea with the lemon peel (use its essential oils) which is put in water after boiling and let it rest for 5 minutes. Only then you add the honey.

 

CINNAMON AND HONEY TEA

Helps with weight loss.

It is possible to lose weight with cinnamon because it speeds up the metabolism, which favors the burning of fat. Honey is an excellent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial agent. Honey also has an important contribution if you want to make changes to maintain a more organic food routine (always use in moderation).

Ingredients

  • Cinnamon powder (3.5 g – 1 coffee spoon);
  • Honey – 1 teaspoon;
  • 1 cup of hot water (250 ml);
  • Lemon juice (optional).

Preparation

  • Heat the water making sure it does not reach the boiling point.
  • Add cinnamon and honey.
  • Stir well so that the ingredients are well mixed.
  • If you like, you can add a few drops of lemon if you like its sour taste.

 

HONEY AND CHAMOMILE TEA

This tea helps with poor digestion, reduces anxiety and also helps to relieve stress; relieves nausea and menstrual cramps.

Chamomile tea is known for its mild flavor and for helping to make our nights calmer and warmer.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of chamomile plant or 2 sachets
  • 1 liter of water
  • 2 tablespoons of honey

Preparation instructions

  • Boil water over high heat.
  • When it starts bubbling, turn off the heat and add the chamomile.
  • Cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
  • Add honey and mix well.

It’s ready to serve.

 

GREEN TEA WITH HONEY

Green tea can be prepared alone or combined with lemon, ginger or mint leaves and can be drunk throughout the day (not recommended at night for those with insomnia).

There are many benefits of green tea: it prevents various types of cancer, promotes weight loss, delays cell aging, prevents heart disease and bacterial and virus infections, helps control blood pressure. Honey is, for all that, the perfect ally for green tea and for our health.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of very hot water (not boiling)
  • 1 teaspoon of green tea (or 1 sachet)
  • 1 teaspoon of honey

Preparation instructions

Add the green tea to very hot water (do not boil it so does not destroy the tea’s benefits) and let it rest for 5 minutes. Add honey and drink.
